Education is more than just learning from books; it is the foundation of opportunity, progress, and empowerment. It shapes individuals, strengthens communities, and paves the way for a better, more equitable society. Yet, millions of children around the world lack access to quality education, leaving them vulnerable to poverty, exploitation, and limited opportunities for the future.
At OSHI Foundation, we believe that education is a right, not a privilege. Through our Open Air Classes (OAC) initiative, we are ensuring that children from underprivileged communities receive free, structured learning, skill development, and a chance to build a brighter future—regardless of their socioeconomic background.
In many communities, children are unable to attend school due to financial constraints, lack of infrastructure, or family responsibilities. Some are forced into labor at an early age, while others are left behind due to a lack of resources. Seeing this reality firsthand, OSHI Foundation took action.
The Open Air Classes (OAC) program was launched with a simple yet powerful idea:
“If children cannot reach schools, we must bring education to them.”
Starting with just one batch of 40 students, we set up outdoor learning spaces in community areas, parks, and open grounds, where children could gather and receive structured education in Hindi, English, and Mathematics. Over time, as word spread and the need became clearer, OAC expanded to three different locations, helping even more children access learning opportunities.
At OSHI Foundation, we envision a future where every child has access to quality education, regardless of their background. To achieve this, we aim to:
✅ Increase the number of Open Air Classes across multiple locations.
✅ Establish structured learning centers for consistent and long-term education.
✅ Partner with schools and institutions to transition more students into formal education.
With your support, we can turn this vision into reality.
